Description
Winston was the gentlest dog I have ever known. Abandoned and rescued as a puppy, his best friend was a cat and he loved all kinds of animals. Six months before he died at age 16, I saw him staring at something in our backyard. It was this baby Robin that had just left its nest. Fortunately, I had my camera close by and was able to grab this picture before the mother Robin squawked and the baby half hopped and half flew away.
