Ha ha! The edge of destruction! I used to ride the Houston Texas Cyclone at Astroworld and I LOVED being in the front. Being in the back was DANGEROUS... you would get whipped and popped from side to side! Love me some roller coasters! FAV!

I remember the first time i went on a "Roller Coaster" in Santa Cruise, CA. I was 3 years younger then my sisters friends and I was terrified to go on it. But once i got on it and didn't want to get off! I rode it 3 more times with a very patient boy. I loved it! Then, I got car sick going the very few miles back to the cabin. You do bring back some very old memories, William. Congrats on your sale! FUN! V/F

William Beuther replied:

Thanks Phyllis.

Great capture William - many of us have arrived at that peak of time on a roller coaster but it flashes by so quickly that it is hardly remembered. Thanks for savoring the moment!

About William Beuther

William Beuther

Bill is an award-winning and published fine art photographer whose work has been juried into numerous art shows at the local, regional, and national levels, including national art shows at the Butler Institute of American Art. Interested in photography since childhood, he was able to immerse himself in it when he retired early from a local community college. Bill uses photography to explore his creativity and is always trying new approaches and techniques. He definitely sees photography as a journey rather than a destination. Regardless of the venue, Bill's goal is always the same; to create photographic images of things that move him in ways that share those emotions with the viewer.
